Texas Woman Scams Online Boyfriend Out Of $1.2M: WTOC says a Texas woman tricked her online boyfriend into giving her $1.2 million for fake surgeries and medication. Lorraine Rew used the money to gamble at Oklahoma casinos instead of paying for medical expenses. She visited one casino 157 times in six months. Rew created fake email accounts to cover her tracks and promised. reimbursement that never came. Prosecutor Eaton stated, “Sadly, the victim’s heart was in the right place, and the alleged perpetrator took advantage of that.”

Some are referring to the divet as “iPhone Finger” or “iPhone Pinky” since it commonly appears on the pinky that most people use when supporting their phones. There is no official diagnosis for the phenomenon at the moment. Some experts disagree that the mark is caused by an overuse of smartphones. Hand surgeon Dr. Peter Evans says, “Most of these images of indents or gaps don’t highlight a problem. They show typical pinky anatomy, which can vary widely. It’s also possible that people, who think they have smartphone pinky, could have an underlying condition.”

Cleveland man Dwayne Leon Whitmire pleaded guilty to impersonating a Gainesville police officer on Friday. Cops were called to a hotel where they found Anthony Goulet passed out among Twisted Tea cans in his truck. He became combative when officers attempted to wake him up.
